Canon® Laser Prints
Canon® Laser prints are produced from digital files or made as conventional copies. It is a xerographic (dry toner) process. The toner is fused to the paper sock. The laser is used to expose the image to the photo sensitive drum. The toner is transfered to the receiving paper stock and fused with heat.

Canon® Laser Prints are remarkably permanent when protected from UV light exposure.

The device is capable to 400 dpi.

To output a digital file requires a Postscript RIP. Several are available. One of the most popular being a Fiery® by EFIcolor. Prints made in this fashion are sometimes called Fiery® prints. They are actually Canon® laser prints pre-processed by the Fiery® computer properly called Canon/Fiery prints.
